Irish MMA superstar Conor Mcgregor took offense at Henry Cejudo’s criticism of his training video and reacted rudely to it
It’s been a war of words between the former two-division UFC champions, Conor McGregor and Henry Cejudo on Twitter. ‘The Notorious One’ has been sent back to its old ways, since Cejudo mocked McGregor’s boxing video, which the latter posted on social media.
Mcgregor is not one to hold back when analyzed on his fighting style, especially from someone who is grounded in wrestling. He retaliated by calling Cejudo a “fat newbie dwarf” in a since-deleted Tweet that included footage of “The Messenger” holding tampons for Cristiane Justino.
“The audacity of this fat little dwarf newbie to hold a kick for cyborg screams. Look at the state of him omg,” McGregor wrote. “Big novice dwarf. @HenryCejudo you’re a fat little dwarf newbie.
Mcgregor is back in training after several months out with a foot injury. Rumors are also swirling that he could get an immediate title shot upon his return, having won only one fight in the previous four outings.

Conor McGregor posted a video of himself working the mitts and getting boxing training, several months since his terrifying injury at UFC 264. The ‘Notorious’ had discussed his intention to return to the octagon maybe this summer.
However, the video failed to impress former two-division UFC champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo. He dug holes in McGregor’s position and guard that was all the way down. He even criticized the Irishman for his lack of range control.
The pair have gone back and forth on several occasions in the past, but this one came as a surprise bearing in mind that McGregor is known for his immaculate boxing skills. Cejudo reacted to the video on Twitter saying, ‘Your hands are down and your distance is reduced. Stay away from them yes men. Just a tip from 🐐’
MMA pundits have long criticized that the reason for Conor’s downfall is due to the lack of a truthful team, which is brutally honest with the MMA superstar. Cejudo even aimed a slight dig at Conor suggesting that he heed his advice, as he is the most decorated combat sports athlete of all time.
