Pittsburgh vs. Carolina – 7:30 p.m. ET

The Edmunds brothers, Terrell and Trey, and the Steelers are 3-0 after another preseason victory last week. Terrell started off safe and ended the game with a loss tackle while Trey hit a 19-yard reception, his fourth catch in three games. The Panthers’ K Joey Slye scored the team’s only points after connecting from a 41-yard field goal in last week’s loss to the Ravens.

Minnesota to Kansas City – 8 p.m. ET – NFL Network

T Christian darrisaw is not expected to make the Vikings preseason finals as he continues to recover from surgery and hopes to be ready for Week 1. The first-round pick has yet to make his debut for Minnesota .

Saturday August 28

Green Bay at Buffalo – 1 p.m. ET – NFL Network

For the second week in a row, the Packers’ T Yosh Nijman saw plenty of action after starting on the left tackle and playing 74% of the team’s offensive snaps. After playing the entire game in Week 1 of the preseason, Nijman could potentially face the Bills’ former teammate and LB Tremaine Edmunds, who has not played this preseason, when the teams face off against each other. on national television Saturday afternoon.

Baltimore to Washington – 6 p.m. ET

Ravens’ S Chuck Clark just had an impressive start in which he forced a fumble and made three tackles in Baltimore’s win over Carolina as he and the Ravens visit CB Kendall Fuller, DT Tim Settle, TE Logan Thomas. Thomas recorded a 28-yard catch-and-run reception in Washington’s victory over Cincinnati while Settle saw reserve action on the defensive line and Fuller did not play.

Chicago, Tennessee – 7 p.m. ET – NFL Network

Sixth round pick 2021 RB Khalil Herbert continues to impress in his rookie preseason as Tech’s top forward a year ago scored his first NFL touchdown on a 13-yard run in the Bears’ second preseason game.

Former Hokies and current Bears teammate K Brian johnson also had another solid game as he connected on a 54-yard field goal on the team’s only attempt. Herbert and Johnson could see a familiar face as the Bears faced off against CB Caleb Farley and the Titans, who made their NFL preseason debut in Tennessee’s win over Tampa Bay a week ago.

Tampa Bay to Houston – 8 p.m. ET

Texans QB Tyrod Taylor was again limited in Week 2 of the preseason after playing just one run in Week 1. Taylor led the Texans for three series, making a touchdown on the first run from Houston. Taylor will be the opposite of Tampa Bay coaches Bruce Arians, Cody Grimm and Nic Rapone, all of whom are Tech alumni.

LA Rams in Denver – 9:05 p.m. ET

After seeing no action in the Broncos’ opener of preseason, CB Kyle Fuller started Denver’s 30-3 win over Seattle on Saturday, but was limited to just 16% of the defensive plays of the team. Fuller and the Broncos are looking to finish the preseason undefeated against the Rams without a win.

LA Chargers in Seattle – 10 p.m. ET – NFL Network

Like Fuller, the Chargers’ CB Brandon Facyson made his 2021 preseason debut as he started against the 49ers and made two tackles last week. On the opposing defense, the DT of the Seahawks Jarrod hewitt recorded his first bag as a pro in week 2.

T Duane Brown is unlikely to see the action after not practicing.

Sunday August 29

Miami to Cincinnati – 4 p.m. ET – CBS

After making two catches in his first preseason game of the year, WR Dolphins Isaiah Ford did not play in the team’s win over Atlanta in preseason week 2. Ford can cap a training camp which has seen him make a number of outstanding catches with a performance against the Bengals on national television.

Cleveland to Atlanta – 8 p.m. ET – NBC

G Wyatt Teller has yet to play a snap in the preseason and will have his last chance to play Sunday Night Football against the Falcons. The Virginia native was the second highest-rated offensive lineman after the 2020 season according to Pro Football Focus.
