Teller signs overtime with Cleveland, Thomas could be back for Washington

Thursday November 11

Baltimore to Miami – 8:20 p.m. ET – FOX

The Ravens and Dolphins begin Week 10 on Thursday night football with a pair of technical teammates going head-to-head. Baltimore S Chuck Clark recorded four tackles in last week’s overtime win over Minnesota, while Miami WR Isaiah Ford saw the reserve action in the Dolphins’ win over Houston.

Sunday November 14

Cleveland to New England – 1 p.m. ET – CBS

After the Browns picked up a big division victory over the Bengals last week, things got even better for G Wyatt Teller who signed a $ 56.8 million extension on Tuesday with Cleveland. Teller has become one of the best indoor linemen in the league as he was named to the second-best pros after the 2020 season and Pro Football Focus ranked him as the second-best goalie in the NFL. Teller has started all nine of the Browns’ games (5-4) and will visit the Patriots (5-4) this Sunday.

Tampa Bay in Washington – 1 p.m. ET – FOX

The Washington football team already had three NFL-top Hokies before adding a fourth Tech alum by signing K Joey Slye earlier this week. Slye joins former Tech CB teammates Kendall Fuller and DT Tim Settle and compatriot Hokie TE Logan Thomas, who could potentially return from a hamstring injury this week. The football team (2-6) and the Buccaneers (6-2) both enjoyed their time off last week.

Buffalo at NY Jets – 1 p.m. ET – CBS

LB Tremaine Edmunds and the Bills face divisional opponent NY Jets this week and look to extend their lead in the AFC East. Edmunds recorded seven tackles in last week’s loss to Jacksonville. The Danville, Va. Native leads the Bills defense with 54 tackles (35 solo) this season.

New Orleans, Tennessee – 1 p.m. ET – CBS

K Brian johnson had another strong performance for the Saints last week as the rookie made his two field goal attempts, including a career 52-yarder. Since signing with the Saints, Johnson has a seven-for-seven record on field trials in three games. The Saints (5-3) visit the Titans (7-2) on Sunday.

Detroit to Pittsburgh – 1 p.m. ET – FOX

The Steelers (5-3) host the Lions (0-8) this week after Pittsburgh’s 29-27 win over Chicago on Monday Night Football. S Terrell Edmunds started safe and recorded four tackles in the win. Edmunds is tied for third with the Steelers with 42 tackles (31 solo) and is one of three Pittsburgh defensemen to record an interception.

Minnesota at LA Chargers – 4:05 p.m. ET – FOX

T Christian darrisaw started their third straight game left tackle for the Vikings in their overtime loss to Baltimore. The 2021 first-round pick has played all of Minnesota’s offensive snaps since taking the starting role in Week 6. The Vikings (3-5) visit the LA Chargers (5-3) on Sunday.

Philadelphia to Denver – 4:25 p.m. ET – CBS

CB Kyle Fuller and the Broncos (5-4) host the Eagles (3-6) on Sunday after a 30-16 win over Dallas in Week 9. Fuller started off and recorded two tackles and one pass defended in the game. Denver victory.

Seattle to Green Bay – 4:25 p.m. ET – CBS

It’s a battle of old technical tackles as T Duane Brown and the Seahawks travel to Lambeau Field to take on T Yosh Nijman and the Packers. Both Hokies started this season, Brown making it in every game in left tackle, while Nijman started three games in left tackle for Green Bay.

Kansas City to Las Vegas – 8:20 p.m. ET – NBC

Last game featuring Tech alumni this week takes place on Sunday Night Football as Chiefs visit CB Brandon Facyson, LB Divine deablo and the Raiders. In last week’s loss to the New York Giants, Facyson started off and recorded seven tackles while Deablo saw reserve action on special teams.

Goodbye hokies

Two Hokies enjoy goodbye this week as Texans QB Tyrod Taylor and Bears RB Khalil Herbert are off. Last week, Taylor returned from the injured reserve, started for Houston, and completed 24 passes for 240 yards while rushing three times for 23 yards in the Texans’ loss to Miami. Herbert carried the ball four times for 13 yards in Chicago’s Monday Night Football loss to Pittsburgh.
