There will be a full roster of races in the region this weekend, including top fan favorite events. The state’s main show will take place in Springfield at the Illinois State Fairground Speedway.
On Saturday at the one-mile dirt facility, the USAC Silver Crown Series will hit the historic site with DIRTcar sportsman heat races. The doors will open at 9 a.m. and practice at 10 a.m.
El Paso’s Ryan Unzicker will look to defend his title at the Allen Crowe Memorial for the ARCA Menard Series on Sunday. The sports function will take place before the main ARCA event of 100 laps. The stands will open at 8:30 a.m.

Farmer City Tour
After last week’s race schedule was canceled due to weather conditions, âBack The Badge Nightâ will take place this week. All law enforcement officers will have free access to the door with their badge. A full show that will include modified pros and hornets will take place. The hot laps start at 6.30 p.m., followed by time trials and races.
Grundy County Race Track
The Cobblestone Oval features special street stock, as well as the Illini Midget series, Spectator Drags, and a full show. The stands open at 5 p.m. and the races start at 8 a.m.
Kankakee County Auto Circuit
After a summer break, the race returns this week with a full program and a special late pro model. The stands open at 5:30 p.m. and the races are at 8 a.m.
Lincoln Motor Circuit
The MOWA Sprint Car series will be the star of the night’s action, complete with a full show. The hot laps start at 6 p.m. and the race is at 7 a.m.
Peoria Motor Circuit
The MARS Late Model series will be presented on Friday and Saturday evenings. Late models will run for $ 3,000 up for grabs on Friday, and Saturday’s winner will take home $ 5,000. Additional money will be paid to modified and modified pro pilots. The stands open at 5 a.m., with training at 6.15 a.m. with races to follow.
Bohmer Race Circuit Rt.66
Two afternoons of racing will see the Mid America Mower Series on Saturday. There will be 10 classes of mowers and a Clone 360 âârace on the program.
On Sunday, a regular Kart racing program is scheduled. Doors open at 10:30 p.m., practice is at noon and the flag drops at 1:00 p.m.
Fairbury Motor Circuit
The traditional Fairbury Fair races will provide an exciting evening of racing for fans of all ages. The program will start earlier to allow fans to enjoy the 145th Fairbury Fair.
TKS Concrete and Knapp Kitchens will sponsor the evening with a weekly FALS Cup card, as well as the Alkota âKeep it Cleanâ series to take away. The hot laps start at 5:30 p.m. and the race is at 6:30 p.m.
Circuit of MÃ¢con
Jack Hewitt, one of the legendary sports pilots, will be in the house as guest of honor. The â mile track will feature POWRi Midgets, Pickups, Mods, Pro-Mods and Hornets. The races will start at 7 p.m.
