WHEATLAND, Missouri (September 29) – One of the biggest events in Lucas Oil Speedway history is only a week away, as more than 300 drivers have already registered for the 8th Annual USRA Nationals Summit powered by MyRacePass.

Sanctioned by the United States Racing Association and featuring five fast and furious divisions of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, the action kicks off with a test ‘n’ tune from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5.

Karaoke with a DJ will be held from 10:05 p.m. on the halfway drag boat, with a beer tent open. The entertainment and beer tent will also be available after Thursday’s race. Friday after the races, musician Joe Inman will perform on the drag boat halfway.

Racing action begins Thursday and will feature USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and Mensink Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks on all three nights. USRA tuners join the card on Friday and Saturday.

Due to the large number of entries, the start time has been moved to 6 p.m. each evening.

A full show of qualifying races and main events will take place each evening. Competitors earn points Thursday and Friday to help determine lineups for Saturday’s main events.

With 100 bonus points for all competitors in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series National Points Battle, along with the huge number of cars and in-depth racing opportunities, most of the top racers from each of the USRA’s five national divisions will be at the Lucas Blockbuster at Oil Speedway.
